Audi is pleased to announce that the Audi Q5 TFSI e has been awarded the AA DRIVEN Car Guide NZ, Best Clean Car PHEV of the Year.

Commenting on the win, Greg Leet, General Manager of Audi New Zealand said, “This car has huge appeal. The Q5 has been a standard-bearer in the premium midsize SUV market for over 10 years due to its progressive design and functional performance. Now with the addition of Audi’s new plug-in hybrid technology and e quattro system, drivers can do the lion’s share of their daily driving more efficiently. We are thrilled to hear that this has been recognised in the AA DRIVEN Car Guide NZ awards.”

Audi has also recently launched two new plug-in hybrids to the PHEV range – the A3 TFSI e and the Q3 TFSI e. These two new models also showcase Audi’s new plug-in hybrid technology and currently receive a Clean Car rebate of $4,025. Smartly priced under $80,000, these two additions are a great opportunity to experience what makes this sort of driving system so popular.

Leet concluded, “Kiwis have shown that they are drawn to its combination of practicality, luxury, style, comfort, and performance. And with a full plug-in hybrid range now available in dealerships throughout the country, we hope to enable Kiwi families to make a change towards a more progressive way of living.”
